I never thought it possible
to know one such as He,
to think that one so vast and awesome
would want to know one such as me.

He pulled out all the stops
to make His way to me,
and tapped on the door of my heart
to let me know it was He.

He knew who I was
my most deepest of need,
and kept tapping and waiting
till I knew He was He.

How could one so vast and awesome
want to know one such as me,
because His vastness and awesomeness
describes His love for me.
